If you have been charged the normal rate for your promotional offer, it is probably because you have already benefited from this discount on another adopte account.
As stated in our Terms of Service, promotional offers are only valid once per user.

Please also note that discounts on subscription prices only apply to the first payment date: therefore, if you renew at the end of your promotional offer, your subscription will be billed at the normal rate. To cancel your subscription, follow the steps outlined in this article.
