If a member is able to write to you, it is probably because you have authorized them to do so using Swipe.
The member in question was therefore authorized to contact you, even though you probably wanted to skip their profile or simply view their photos.
How does Swipe work?
When you're browsing or viewing your matches, you can:
- Swipe left to move on to another profile. You can also press the "skip" button
- Swipe right to charm the profile. You can also tap the "charm" button
How can I view the photos on a profile?
To view a user’s photos, you can either:
- Let them scroll automatically
- Tap the right or left edge of the photo without sliding
- Tap the center of any photo, then scroll through them manually by sliding your finger
How do I remove from my contacts a member I accidentally charmed?
Block the member
If you want to completely break off contact (meaning the member will no longer be able to see your profile or message you):
- On the member's profile, tap the "
" button at the top right of your screen
- Tap the "Block" option
