If you notice that your conversations are not updating automatically on our mobile app, this is usually due to push notifications being disabled.
How do I enable push notifications?
From our iPhone app
From your phone's Settings:
- Go to your phone's Settings
- Type "adopte" in the search bar at the top and tap the result that appears
- In the "Notifications" section, make sure that the "Allow notifications" option is enabled
From the adopte app:
- Go to the "My Profile" page by tapping the
icon at the bottom right
- Tap the
button at the top left to access the "My Account" page
- In the "push notifications" section, check the box "receive emails"
From our Android app
From your phone's Settings:
- Go to your phone's Settings, then "Apps" and "All apps"
- Find the "adopte" app, then tap on the corresponding line
- Tap "Notifications," then make sure the "All notifications from adopte" option is enabled
From the adopte app:
- Go to the "My Profile" page by tapping the
icon at the bottom right
- Tap the
button in the top right corner to access the "My Account" page
- In the "push notifications" section, check the box "receive emails"
Why enable push notifications?
By enabling push notifications:
- You are notified immediately when new messages arrive
- Your conversations are automatically updated, even if you don't open the app
To get the most out of the mobile experience, we recommend enabling notifications
Tip: If you do not wish to receive push notifications, please remember to disable them in your phone settings.
