To ensure a friendly and respectful experience, we make sure that photos posted on adopte follow certain strict rules, and we reject photos that do not comply.
Possible reasons for photo rejection
Your photo may have been moderated for one of the following reasons:
- It does not represent you (landscapes, animals, celebrities, etc.)
- It is too blurry or has been excessively edited
- It contains other recognizable faces or people
- A child appears in the photo
- It includes nudity or pornographic or exhibitionist content
- It contains commercial or advertising content, or displays personal information (address, email, phone number, website, etc.)
- It shows weapons, drugs, or money
- It contains added graphics or text
What should you do if your photo has been rejected?
If you believe that your photo complies with all of these rules but has been moderated by mistake, you can resubmit it to us. To do so:
- Go to our contact form
- Select the option "I need help with an adopte feature"
- Choose "Edit my profile"
- Attach the photo and briefly describe your request
We will review your request carefully and get back to you as soon as possible.
