What are charms for?

A simple gesture to start a conversation

The Charm is a unique feature that makes it easier to interact on adopte. Charming a member is a simple and effective way to show your interest, whether you send it or accept it. If a member accepts your charm, you can get in touch with them and start a conversation. Try it and let the magic happen!

To send a charm:

1. Go to a member's mini-profile or directly to their profile
2. Tap or click on the logo

To accept or decline a charm:

From our iPhone app

1. ​Tap the button in the top right corner to access the list of Charms you have received
2. Swipe left to decline a charm
3. Swipe right to accept it

From our Android app

1. Tap the button in the top right corner to access the list of Charms you have received
2. Swipe left to reject a charm
3. Swipe right to accept it

From our website

1. Click on the button in the top right corner to access the list of Charms you have received
2. Click on the left to reject a charm
3. Click on the right to accept it

To view your charm history:
